Joan Snider's Famous Rolls

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups milk (cool to lukewarm)
  • 1 cube (1/2 cup) butter
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 Tbs salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup hot water
  • 1 Tbs yeast
  • 3 eggs 
  • 5 1/2 cup flour

  • 2 cups milk (cool to lukewarm)
  • 1 cube (1/2 cup) butter
  • 1 Tbs salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
Add above ingredients to milk 

Mix 1/4 cup hot water (100-110 degrees) and 1 Tbs yeast
Let yeast raise

  • 3 eggs well beaten
Add to milk mixture. When milk mixture is 100 degrees add yeast and then stir in 5 1/2 cup flour.

Let raise 2-4 hours
Mix down and refridgerate for at least 1 1/2 hours. Can be left over night

Roll out on floured surface and cut. 

Melt half a cube of butter (1/4 cup) on cookie sheet. Drag roll in butter and fold over

Bake 375 degrees 12-15 min

Joan Snider's Sweet & Tangy Salad Dressing

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup white vinegar
  • 3/4 cup canola oil
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 tsp dried onion
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp prepared mustard (mustard from a bottle)
  • 1 1/2 tsp celery seed

Mix all ingredients together, shake well. make 1 day before serving for flavor

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup shortening
  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla 
  • 3 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3/4-1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2-3/4 white chocolate chips
Heat oven to 375
